My technology paragraph :) Sorry this was left off my first post

Here is a little more about me and my connection that I didn't mention in my first post...

I have had some experience with technology because of growing up with the ability to use computers almost on a daily basis. I only stretch myself so far though. I do not really like to mess with new things and take the time to learn new technologies. Luckily members of my family are much better and I can ask for help :) I had always been a PC person before I started teaching. I enjoyed PC's and all they had to offer. When I got my job, I was issued a macbook. This was quite an adjustment for me, but I soon came to love my new computer. The mac has been fairly easy for me to learn and the programs have been very fun to use. In my classroom I use the projector to show some websites to the whole class or to watch an educational video. We also have an elmo to project items (textbooks, storybooks, and manipulatives) on. The students use the mobile lab for online testing or research. I'm not sure what version of office I am using because the district puts everything on the computers. All I know is it seems to work well.
